Today explore the beautiful Cape Peninsula. Enjoy the spectacular views from the summit of Cape Point which looks out over the Cape of Good Hope, then visit Boulders Beach, home to the protected land-based colony of African penguins.

We travel through the mountains of the Western Cape, passing through Grubouw famous for apple production and vineyards, then along the beautiful Garden Route to Knysna where your hotel is located on the waterfront overlooking Knysna lagoon. There are plenty of quality restaurants in the area for you to enjoy a free night dining.

DAY 6 - Knysna – Addo Elephant Park

Continue along the Garden Route through Plettenburg Bay and the beautiful Tsitsikamma Rainforest before arriving at Addo. With uninterrupted views of the Karoo Plains and the Zuurberg Mountains, Kuzuko Lodge lies in a private concession to the north of Addo Elephant National Park, the third largest national park in South Africa. This finely tuned ecosystem is sanctuary to elephant, lion, buffalo, black rhino, spotted hyena, leopard, a variety of antelope and zebra species, as well as the unique Addo flightless dung beetle, found almost exclusively in Addo.

DAY 7 - Addo National Park

An early start for your morning game drive in open safari four wheel drive vehicles. Look out for close up photo opportunities of the ‘Big Five’ Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard. Return to the lodge for a buffet breakfast before some free time to relax and enjoy the facilities.

In the early afternoon, enjoy a traditional African high tea before you’re included afternoon game drive, another chance to see wild animals in the late afternoon when they are at their most active. Return to the lodge where dinner is included.

DAY 8 - Port Elizabeth – Durban

This morning take advantage of a further game drive (extra expense booked on tour) or relax in the lovely surrounds of the Kuzuko Lodge and enjoy a later breakfast before checking out of your lodge.

Leaving Addo, we drive to Port Elizabeth airport for your flight to Durban. On arrival enjoy an orientation tour of Durban finishing at your hotel located in the lively Umhlanga waterfront area of Durban where there is an included dinner in a local seafood restaurant.

DAY 9 - Drakensburg – Cathedral Peak

Travel north into the magnificent World Heritage listed Drakensburg Ranges through stunning mountain scenery before arriving at your hotel, perched on the slopes of the 3004 metre Cathedral Peak. The area comprises South Africa’s highest peaks including the magnificent Amphitheatre, considered one of the great mountains of the world. Nestled in the unspoiled surroundings of the Drakensburg Ranges lies the Cathedral Peak Hotel, one of South Africa’s premier resort destinations.

DAY 12 - Swaziland – Kruger National Park

After a leisurely morning we leave the tiny kingdom and return to South Africa. Continuing into the lowveld region we arrive at world famous Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s oldest National Parks and home to many hundreds of species, cats, antelope, as well as the ‘Big Five’. We drive by coach through the park to our hotel where we enjoy an outdoor ‘boma’ highlight dinner to taste some of the delights of Africa. (weather permitting)

DAY 13 - Kruger National Park

We start early this morning for our included game drives in customised open safari vehicles, including light refreshments along the way. On return we enjoy a full buffet breakfast and free time to enjoy the facilities of the lodge. A light bush lunch is included before our afternoon game drives commence. Tonight enjoy another ‘boma’ African style dinner under the stars.

DAY 14 - Kruger National Park

Relax this morning at the lodge with a late breakfast before departing for the picturesque town of Hazyview.

You’re Invited: Visit Elephant Whispers a project dedicated to securing the future of the African elephant. Experienced elephant handlers share their in-depth knowledge and you get a chance to get up close to these amazing animals.

DAY 15 - Panorama Route – Johannesburg

Sunday 2 October 2016 Panorama Route – Johannesburg

Travel along the ‘Panorama Route’ and view the stunning Blyde River Canyon, the third largest canyon in the world, and one of Africa’s natural treasures. Visit the Bourke’s Luck Potholes and stop at World’s View.

DAY 16 - Johannesburg – Victoria Falls – Elephant Valley

Depart the hotel this morning for your transfer to the airport to meet your flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. On arrival see one of the most spectacular natural sites, Victoria Falls. Later travel just across the Botswana border to your lodge at Elephant Valley, located around a waterhole frequently visited by wildlife.

You’re Invited: to Chinotimba township to experience life in a truly African community, including a visit to the local school to meet the children. Tonight enjoy an included outdoor ‘boma’ highlight dinner
